Dr. Maria Lee is a Sugar Land native who attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her residency and fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and is excited to return to Houston to take care of patients and be back with her family and friends.
Dr. Shipman is board certified in Endocrinology and in Internal Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. In addition, she is a member of The Endocrine Society, the Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society.
Dr. Qureshi graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston and went on to attain his doctorate of medicine (M.D.) degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University and completed fellowship training at The Houston Methodist Hospital in Clinical Endocrinology.
Dr. Nwachukwu graduated from the prestigious College of Medicine, University of Ibadan in Nigeria. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She then worked as a hospitalist in Tennessee for a year while being involved in a biomedical research project on type 2 diabetes, with the Endocrine Division at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN.
