Maria Lee, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist and internal medicine physician at The Endocrine Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Lee joins the team of endocrinology, diabetes, and thyroid specialists at the practice’s Main Campus and Greater Heights office locations.

A Sugar Land native, Dr. Lee earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin, and her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She then completed both her internal medicine residency and a fellowship in endocrinology, lipids, and metabolism at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Lee is excited to return to Houston to serve the patients in her community and be back with her family and friends. From her extensive training, Dr. Lee has an interest in many different endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, parathyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and others. 

In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and dancing (swing and salsa).
